Started in January 1985 by Dr. Ivan R. Misner, Founder & CEO of Business Network Int'l., BNI provides a positive, supportive, and structured environment for professionals that value networking and word-of-mouth marketing.

Networking requires commitment. The most successful chapters of BNI are comprised of participants who are committed to helping one another build a rewarding network. They are a team. As a participant in BNI, you are responsible for complying with the policies and guidelines of the organization.

Joining Gate City BNI
If you'd like to learn more about joining our chapter, you must be sponsored by a current member. While visiting the chapter meeting, instructions will be given about how to express your interest to join. You'll be asked to meet with the membership committee, and your nomination will come before the entire chapter for consideration. The process takes about two weeks and generally progresses without issue, provided you're not in conflict with any current members.

Cost Information
There are one year and two year participation options. See the Secretary/Treasurer of the chapter you visit for prices. If you apply to participate in BNI, your application will be reviewed by the chapter's membership committee, and you will be notified of the status before the next meeting.
